I was looking forward to this book long before I bought it, and though it was a little different than I expected, it was still totally worth the money. So, positive points: – Lots of Jack and Julian. I fell in love with these two when I read "True North" (book one of the series, though it's not necessary to read it before this), and was thrilled to see more of their relationship. – More likable characters: Brad is a sweetheart, and though you may want to smack Patrick a time or two, he's adorable as well. – Interesting Minor Characters: As with the other two books, the authors have a way of making you fall in love with more than just the main characters. – Entertaining plot: Unlike with many other books, I don't feel like the storyline lulled at all. Okay, now for a few negative points: – Patrick: Yes, overall I found him adorable, but at times his "sluttiness" felt overdone. – The Almost/Maybe Menage: Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a little old fashioned when it comes to love. To put it mildly, I HATE m/m/m. I didn't mind the playfulness between Patrick and Julian. And it was fun watching Julian use Patrick to make Jack jealous. But when it went beyond that and – without giving too much away – Patrick kind of joined in, it annoyed me. I get why that aspect was thrown in, but honestly, the reins could have been pulled back just a tad. So, overall feelings: Like I said, there were a couple of negatives that lessened my enjoyment of the book a little bit. But even so, I still really enjoyed the book and would definitely recommend it – especially (though, again, it's not totally necessary) if you read and enjoyed the other books.
