Prologue

Kieran the Black was a notorious Norman Knight, who rumor has it, decapitated the heads of three Saxon soldiers with a single swipe of his sword?a sword that measured six and a half feet in size?the very height of the great warrior himself.

Six and a half feet! Lizzie smiled to herself and turned up the volume on the "audio tour" she had rented at the exhibition's front desk.

She, along with a dozen other journalists, had gained entrance into the coveted William the Conqueror exhibition two days before its scheduled opening to the public. Because she was a lover of all things medieval, and a member of the Society of Creative Anachronism (SCA), this assignment had been right up Lizzie's alley, and she'd jumped at the chance to attend.

This surpassed what I expected it to be, usually the medieval guy has some sort of attitude problem and the women can be nitwits. But this book was vastly different. Kieran was sweet and seemed desperate for a place to fit in so to say, a place where he could have love. When he found it, he held on to it and protected it. He makes you wish desperately for a guy just like him, it helps that he sounds completely hot.

WOW - WOW - WOW! This story was amazingly hot yet sadly short. It left me wanting for more! The story of a middle aged modern woman traveling back in time and into the body of an 18 year old - isn't that every woman's dream? - and into the bed of a smoking hot warrior. Intense sex scenes. Characters came to life with their lust and love for one another. Fantastic read - highly recommended!
