This fairy tale leaves much to be desired. The heroine's age is given in the first chapter as 23 but later she experiences her 19th birthday. Modern product references are used as attempts at humor. The redeeming quality of this piece is the clumsiness of the main characters. It brings the fairy tale folk down to earth with the rest of us. This piece could have been so much better with some careful editing and less kitsch. I adore the Beauty and the Beast fairy tale. I implore you not to waste your time on this version.
