Reader Review: A very sweet story. Romantic, with a sweet and strong leading lady. Catalina cares for everyone around her. Her hero Iverson is not only handsome, with somewhat of a slight temper, but learns that love prevails. A light entertaining love story. Great for a summer afternoon. I'm going to look for book 3 in the series.

Burgeoning author Catalina Crisp completes a parody involving twins Iverson and Matson Brentwood's scandalous arrival in London and publishes it under her father's name. When the writing hits the town, it's not long before a darkly handsome man--Lord Iverson Brentwood himself--is at her door, looking for her father with blood in his eyes. Dallying with the dashing rogue seems like the perfect escape...and it should calm him down enough to leave her father alone. But Catalina does the exact opposite--she heats him up like no other woman ever has...

A Sweet Story

A Gentleman Says I Do is a light and sweet romance. I enjoyed Ms.Grey's characters. Catalina and Iverson have a nice chemistry and some fun dialogue. However, the story's plot stays very simple. I kept expecting a twist or an increased conflict that never materialized. I was disappointed in the lack of story possibilities that weren't explored. And, some of the dialogue just comes across as trite, especially in the midst of a passionate embrace.
Despite these deficits, I found the book a pleasant read and am interested enough to look for other books by this author.
