Love Anna Campbell's novels! Flawed characters redeemed by love. Gideon's past held him captive, understandably so, whilst Charis's circumstances were what she had to escape from.
Although Charis was a little too good to be true, I read the novels for the interaction & development of relationship between the characters, and for the pure escapism of the story, & not with a critical eye.
As with all her previous novels, Ms Campbell creates a story that compells you to read until the end (no matter how late at night it is!). Can't wait for her next novel...she's on the top of my "favourite authors" list.
