The Clone Wars have exploded across the galaxy as Republic forces and Separatists struggle to gain the upper hand. But while the Jedi generals work tirelessly to defeat Count Dooku and his rebels, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine is hatching his own dark plans.
The Separatists have launched a sneak attack on Coruscant. Obi-Wan Kenobi, wounded in battle, insists that Anakin Skywalker and his rookie Padawan Ahsoka leave on a risky mission against General Grievous. But when Senator Bail Organa reveals explosive intelligence that could turn the tide of war in the Republic’s favor, the Jedi Master agrees to accompany him to an obscure planet on the Outer Rim to verify the facts. What Obi-Wan and Bail don’t realize is that they’re walking into a deadly trap concocted by Palpatine . . . and that escape may not be an option.
Inspired by the full-length animated feature film Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the brand-new TV series, this thrilling adventure is filled with provocative, never-before-revealed insights into the characters of Obi-Wan, Anakin, Padme, Yoda, Count Dooku, and many other Star Wars favorites.
Features a bonus section following the novel that includes a primer on the Star Wars expanded universe, and over half a dozen excerpts from some of the most popular Star Wars books of the last thirty years!

Title: Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Wild Space August 10, 2012 I enjoyed Wild Space 50 pages in. I really liked the post Geonosis stuff, the details of how and when Anakin was knighted, how Padme and Anakin hid their marriage from Obi-Wan and the Jedi Order. Wild Space was full of many little details that haven't been found in any other source. It was about a third of the way in that I wondered where the action and humor was. There was a lot of dialogue but none of it funny and none of it was pushing the story forward.

Not as good as some Clone Wars novels
Reviewer: A reader from VICTORIA, BC CAN
Obi-Wan's tendency to hate politicians is prominent. No wonder. Bail Organa comes off as a foppish jerk. This was a Bail book more than anything. About him understanding what real action is like. But it isn't the Bail Organa Jimmy Smitts created in the prequels. And Obi-Wan was really off too. There was just no humor at all.
The action finally begins in the last third and it's fairly fun from there but really, this book was quite short on action until the last third and very long on dialogue.
it rocks.

A great Star Wars book that really delves into the characters and makes them come alive. This is really a Kenobi story and it rocks.
