Reader Review: This was the first Troy Denning Star Wars materlial I remember reading. And it's pretty good in general. I'm a fan of Saba Sebatyne and Barabels. I don't consider Denning a particularly funny writer but I do like the off beat humor of the lizards. This is their introduction. I give it a 4 just for Saba alone.

An exciting novella with Barabels

This is a pretty decent short story. Some of the new characters, such as the salt-addicted Arcona jedi, are pretty compelling. However, the story is included in Star by Star (Star Wars: The New Jedi Order, Book 9), which is a key book in the series, so there's really no reason to buy Recovery separately.
