Reader Review: A fun sequel to novel 'To Die For' - love the look into the main character's head. She's funny smart and even though she looks like a powder-puff, she's tough enough to stand up to someone who wishes her harm. Enough twists and turns to keep you guessing and is a great read. Couldn't put it down.
“Linda Howard is a superbly original storyteller.”
Blair Mallory has already survived one murder attempt. Now, while planning her wedding and dealing with holiday-season madness, Blair once again dodges a bullet. Or more precisely, a Buick. And though the driver’s identity remains a mystery, his or her murderous intentions are all too clear.
Or are they? After all, Blair’s homicidal ex-husband and his partner in crime/wife are safely behind bars. And even Wyatt Bloodsworth, her police detective groom-to-be, isn’t inclined to believe she’s being targeted again. All of which makes Blair wonder if her close call was simply a mishap. But the wondering stops when she narrowly cheats death again in another seemingly innocent accident. Two strikes is all it takes to convince Blair that she’s back in someone’s crosshairs. And the only thing more frightening is that Wyatt still doubts her. That means this time, no one will be watching Blair’s back when she sets out to get the drop on her would-be killer–before whoever it is finally drops her.

I am amazed that Linda Howard wrote just as good the second time as the first. Some veteran Linda Howard readers may not like the style, but I thought it a refreshing change. Blair and Wyatt are back and someone is, again, trying to kill Blair. Hopefully not before their wedding.

I didn't like this book as well as 'To Die For'. I felt like it was a little redundant. I know we all think our Exes are psychotic, but they aren't really! Blair is still hysterical, and Wyatt was bit more subdued in this book. Blair and Wyatt are still great fun to read, and Linda Howard is simply a genious. Love all of her books.

The sequel to "To DIe For". Now Blaire and Wyatt are planning their wedding. Well, Blaire is planning it and Wyatt has given her a deadline or else it's a vegas wedding! We get even more laughs in this book. If you enjoyed "To Die For" you'll definitly love this.
If you've enjoyed "To Die For" and "Drop Dead Gorgeous", I would also recommend "Mr. Perfect" and "Open Season".
