Reader Review: The 3rd in the Works Like Magick series. This one is about the dragon brother Darkwyn and Bronte. He is impatient and doesn't really follow Vivica's directions or course work (DVD's etc.) to help him assimilate to this world and humans. He thinks all women want him (it is in part that he was on the internet learning the wrong things). She's hiding from hit men, and has a young boy with her (there is more to the boy then what is on the surface). Plenty of laughs, and action. Vivica & another of the dragon brothers (he's her assistant) is in this book.
One the run from the mob, Bronte McBride needs the kind of protection that only the mysterious and handsome bodyguard Darkwyn-a former Roman warrior turned dragon-can give her. But Bronte's secrets could endanger both of them.
