Reader Review: Magic Lost, Trouble Found is a fun and exciting first person fantasy adventure. Raine is a seeker of moderate magical ability. She comes from a family of elven pirates and has street smarts and brains. When her employee, a reformed thief gets in over his head stealing from a Necromancer, Raine is there to ensure it doesnât prove fatal. When Raine ends up bonded to a soul stealing rock, the trouble really begins. At least there is some compensation in the company she is now keeping; Paladin Mychael (coated in yum), and the sinfully delicious former dark goblin Tam. I look forward to more in this series
Raine Benares is a Sorceress Seeker of average ability until she comes into possession of an amulet that amplifies her powers-and her enemies.

Title: Magic Lost, Trouble Found February 26, 2012 I can say that after reading this book that LIsa Shearin became one of my new favorite authors. Although it started out slow and confusing, as it took me about the first third of the book to become accustomed to her created world. I soon became caught up in the story and couldn't stop reading until the book's conclusion, at which point I began reading the second one immediately.

Such interesting characters!!!!!
The heroine Raine is so likable, she's independent and strong [though her natural magic ability is only so-so]. It was good to read as she discovered her heritage and defeat the bad goblins. Throw in a potential love interest or two, a well described magical world [with all its intricacies], and wonderful minor characters and you have a must read!
