Reader Review: While other reviewers complained about the angst in this book, I didn't think it was over-done. In Mercy Blade, Jane Yellowrock continues to develop into a strong, feminine woman who I (as a reader) can wholeheartedly root for. The plot was fast-paced and full of action; I would have liked to see more development on the romance front -- difficult since one party of the love triangle between Jane, Bruiser and Rick was absent for a large part of the book. However, it was another strong installment in the series, and I cannot wait to read the next one!
