Reader Review: I am a fan of Christine Feehan's and have read all of her Dark series. I was hesitant to read the Leopard series, but this book is hot! I was sad at some parts and happy at others. Jake and Emma's relationship at the beginning was a complicated one, where Jake was using Emma. However its funny how it turned out how much Jake needed Emma. Great read, a break from her dark series...

This is my by far my fav series by Christine Feehan and this book was truely burning wild. Jake is a very complicated character and Emma calms this down by seeming very uncomplicated to the reader. The chemistry between this two characters just leaps off the page and burns leaving you turning the pages to see if Jake will ever get the woman he had moved heaven and earth to get. The smaller characters are just as well personalized as the main ones and i cant wait too see Feehan give them their own day in the sun!

This book had a strong agressive dominant male and a female who was able to put up with his personality without losing her femininity. The plot was fantastic, the intimacy intense, the romance enchanting, the suspense staggering. This book did not leave you wishing or wanting more. Everthing was there: a male who was very strong & virile in his beliefs, his woman, his wants and dislikes. His personality was intense but there was a very good reason. The female was able to get by his hardness by using her feminine wiles while not seeming like she was a doomat. She did not argue or become difficult over every issue. I dislike female characters who are harder and more stubborn then the guy. I closed the book very satisfied and ecstatic for the new couple.

Christine is the top romance writer of the WORLD!! That's all you need to know! I made a mistake, and bought this book again. I don't read books twice!!!...I did this one. It was awesome. God, I love the man, and the woman too. You will love this book. He is VERY MALE!!
