Every year since 1977, Guideposts has published Daily Guideposts, a devotional book containing short inspirational pieces for each day of the year. Its purpose is to bring readers closer to God and to help them live fuller, richer lives through prayerfully sharing in the personal experiences of its writers. Every day, Daily Guideposts offers: a short Scripture verse for reflection; a true, first-person anecdote, told in an informal, conversational style, that shares the ways God speaks to us in the ordinary events of life; a brief prayer to focus the reader's own prayers and put the day's message to work in his or her own life. Simply and directly, in just five minutes a day, Daily Guideposts helps its readers to find the spiritual richness in their own lives every day of the year. And it makes them part of a remarkable family of readers and writers brought together by a common faith and united by heartfelt prayer.

| Note | ePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it. |
