What made people—or Filipinos in particular—detached or disconnected from their historical sense, and seemingly ashamed of their own history? The "education" in history, by those who are aware of the reason called it "miseducation" of Filipino people. This is because the dominant and reigning religious and political sectors are still strongly maintaining the status quo over the rightful agent of the ultimate pro-Filipino education. Ruling religious or political sectors may be offended by the philosophies and pro-Filipino ideals by our Filipino patriots in history, as they still sold out to the claims and methods of the religious institutions defensively and anticipating against what Filipinos are fighting for. The nation's political leadership seems to be trying to please the giant who may have the total capacity to terrorize the whole race or nation by its complete killing machine. Truly "liberating education" is overpowered by the propaganda machine of the pro-imperialist institutions. The enlightening pro masses or people in history to free the nation from worshipping the "superior" is still subject to our honest endeavor.

Pointing out the roadblocks and hindrances of the human truth displayed in history must be our task to free the honest truth to serve life and people. Historical sense should make sense to the lives of people; we should be asking why things cannot succeed. With sincere hearts and intentions, we bring basic challenges, issues, and concerns to our attention as good starting tools for the discussion of what we thought will lead us toward what is pleasing to t
