Reader Review: This is one of my favorite book. I love how the hero Vane can be super confident one moment and then uncertain the next. Now the heroine Bride is awesome at first you think she is the typical doormat, but by the end of this book. I definitely don't want to ever be on her bad side. This book is a must read and reread.

Bride McTierney has had it with men. They're cheap, self-centered, and never love her for who she is. But though she prides herself on being independent, deep down she still yearns for a knight in shining armor.

She just never expected her knight in shining armor to have a shiny coat of fur...

Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis isn't what he seems. Most women lament that their boyfriends are dogs. In Bride's case, hers is a wolf. A Were-Hunter wolf. Wanted dead by his enemies, Vane isn't looking for a mate. But the Fates have marked Bride as his. Now he has three weeks to either convince Bride that the supernatural is real or he will spend the rest of his life neutered--something no self-respecting wolf can accept...

But how does a wolf convince a human to trust him with her life when his enemies are out to end his? In the world of the Were-Hunters, it really is dog-eat-dog. And only one alpha male can win.

wolf love

Reviewer:

This is a excellent book. I just love this story of Vane and Bride. Vane, falling in love with an Irish plus-sized store owner, Bride. The chemistry and overall emotional play between the characters is amazing and while the plot is rather simple (Vane's family and pack spend the duration of the novel hunting down Vane and his mate), it plays so well with the pace of the book. Everyone must read this book.......

Deliciously sexy

Bride McTierney has just gotten dumped by her live-in boyfriend who is making her move out, apparently used her to move his career forward and moved on to a new skinny trophy girlfriend. Vane Kattalakis, a Were-Hunter wolf, sees her through her storefront window and is stunned. He saw her a few weeks ago when he was protecting Sunshine (Talon's mate) and never forgot her. When he enters her store, their lives are changed forever.

Vane isn't looking for a mate but it turns out Bride is the one that the Fates have marked for him. But, she's a human and he's wanted dead by his enemies. Vne has three weeks to convince Bride, who is unaware he's a wolf, to be his mate or spend the rest of his life neutered. He also has to convince himself that this is an acceptable life for Bride given the danger he faces everyday from his enemies.

I looked forward to reading Vane's story and it lived up to my expectations. Aside from being deliciously sexy, his love and admiration for Bride was just touching. She was so bruised emotionally and, for a wolf with no experience with humans, he was amazingly sensitive. I loved how he reached out to his network for coaching and his natural instincts made him really special. Vane is fearless and wildly protective of those he cares about but has a sense of fairness that should have been uncommon in someone with his sad background. The confrontations with his enemies were exciting and dangerous and the ending was cleverly crafted.

This is my favorite of the series so far, full of heartwarming (and sexy) moments and excitement. The series just keeps getting better and better.
