One hot July day at the beach, confident, careless, thirteen-year-old Lindsay, walks around the rocks and out of sight. She leaves behind her two younger brothers, and her cousins Annie and Alistair. She does not come back.
Thirty years later, the rest of them are still trying to deal with the consequences of that fateful day. Each has to deal with a child - or the absence of a child; with emotions expressed--or inexpressible; with silences as eloquent as words. Gradually they are drawn back to High House where as cousins they played on that sunny beach. Here they must come to terms not just with the past, but with their own fallibility and an uncertain future.

NoteePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it.
