Turning forty, you would think I was ready for the glue factory. It hit me hard! Half of my life is almost over and I didn't like it one bit. My gosh, I'm glad my hair, (with the help of some blonder-than-blonde, do-it-yourself hair color), softens the aging process on my head. As I look in the magnifying mirror on my bathroom wall, those tiny hairs on my face are hardly visible to the naked eye. But to me, they stand up or pop out at the most embarrassing time and I need a wax job before you know it.The Galaxy Gals Club centers around my six gal friends and how we became who we are. You ask, why that name? It's because we are "out there" in one respect or another. One by one, they entered my life with the most inappropriate timing in female friendship history. Pardon my manners. Let me introduce myself - my name is Robin Eden and I am the owner of a collectible doll shop in Georgia. My friends call me "Robbie."
So, make yourself a cup of coffee or a stiff drink and join me as we meet our Galaxy Gal Number One, Sondra Paige. What a handful she was at our first encounter. I still see the scene vividly replayed as if it were yesterday. A 40% off weekend sale at my doll shop brought a good amount of customers from all surrounding areas as I had spent a fortune on the advertising, which paid for itself threefold. My inventory needed to be replaced and rather quickly after the successful sale.
