I drink deeply now of this moment ... the Scottish morning sunlight and the meadowlarks rejoicing ... and the precious breath of the Highland Princess ... A Celtic Dream introduces a new Alaskan artist and poet, sharing his first compilation of prose, poetry, and artistic expressions illustrating the changing faces of love and life. Many years ago, K. Scott, known to his friends as Scotty, dreamed about a love unlike anything he had ever experienced. After witnessing the surreal start of a perfect day in a Scottish castle with his beloved highland princess, he found a strong desire to write about love while learning more about his Celtic ancestry. As time progressed, Scotty soon realized that his path in life would be lined with both joy and sorrow. In his collection of lyrical verse, he offers a unique perspective on how he became a better man because of his heartbreak-eventually discovering freedom, kindness, and, most importantly, serenity. As he shares lessons learned of gratitude and peace with self and God, Scotty bares his Celtic soul, offering the realization that from pleasure and pain comes treasure and gain.

I long to kiss your brow as you sleep in my arms ... softly so as not to awaken you ... over and over I kiss you ... first your brow ... then your cheek ... then your nose and each eye ... I long to pull you just a little closer to me that I may wrap both of my arms around you and give your intense body the hug that warms my heart and sends my spirit into chills of euphoria ... my heart is skipping a beat as I embrace you and pause to reflect on this moment that I've longed for fulfilled ... I breathe slowly now to silence all extraneous noise ... I drink deeply now of this moment ... the bedroom ... the Scottish morning sunlight and the meadowlarks' rejoicing ... and the precious breath of the Highland princess ... the one I love in truth lying close to my body ... the woman resembling a unique and precious flower, known in my native land as the "Bonnie Heather" ... the lady I hav
