1. Stimulation of the mind or emotions to a high level of feeling or activity.
2. Something, such as a sudden creative act or idea, that is inspired.
3. Divine guidance or influence exerted directly on the mind and soul of humankind.
What inspires you? Black Enterprise magazine is a source of inspiration for me, especially when I read articles about everyday people turning seemingly small ideas into companies. Do you ever look at successful people and wonder what they did to become successful? Do you ever look at someone who is doing what you have envisioned for yourself and think, "I could do that, and perhaps better"? These questions should serve as inspiration and motivation for you. Are these people smarter than you? Probably not, but they have acted intelligently. Instead of sitting back and waiting to see if someone else is going to do it, they do it themselves. They see a need and fill it. They see an opportunity and seize it. These people find a way to accomplish while most sit back thinking of all the reasons why not. They forge ahead despite obstacles, desperate to succeed, and they never entertain the thought of failure.
