Reader Review: This book is about the courtship of two couples: King Richard, The Lionheart and his Berengaria and Prince Liam MacEgam and Adriana. Here you see the beginning of the romantic love (as we know today). Richard and Berengaria meets and he's very attracted to her, but it's something that can't be 'cause he's betrothed to another. Years later he's free to ask for Berengaria's hand and they plan to marry in the Holy Land. Menawhile Prince MacEgam is at the king's service and became very interested in Berengaria's lady-in-waiting, Adriana. The women will became prisoners in Cyprus and their men will do everithing in their power to free them and claim their love. This second book has a little more romance than the first in the collection ("what the duchess want" by Terri Brisbin) but, it's just a little... you have more power, politics and war than romance... And both couples have their romance very quickly resolved, but it's a good story. Next in the collection: "Prince charming in disguise" by Bronwyn Williams.
