Humanae Vitae imposes, by natural law, that each and every conjugal act must be open to conception. Many human activities are performed in natural fashion under natural circumstances. Whether the same natural law should apply if the circumstances are totally and absolutely not natural is what this book attempts to assess in it's pages. Should a potential conception be imposed if absolutely strong evidence supports that such an occurrence would lead to devastation of an individual and/or destruction of the family unit? Unfortunately the rhythm method is totally ineffective in many of these situations. If God Himself made 90% of conjugal sexual acts incapable of conception, can the Vatican honestly and in truth impose the dictum that each and every act be open to conception? This subject and several other areas of human sexuality and sensuality are discussed where the author feels that undue guilt and destruction of self esteem are also imposed by church hierarchy.
