DENNIS SHAW has been a working journalist for more than 60 years, since beginning as a messenger boy in 1948. He is now, a media consultant in professional golf. During his career he has written for Midland provincial, and National newspapers, including the original Sun, and the Times, for whom he was a byline writer for five years. He was a recipient in the AstroTurf British Sports Journalist Awards in 1977, and later was the Heart of England Midland Sports Columnist of the Year.
