Reader Review: It was a little disappointing for me. You have the heroine sexually teasing the hero to make him take her roughly. He finally caves in and takes her roughly, but it's lacking true roughness. He has her in a submissive possession but he doesn't do anything deliberate to make her submit. He's controlling this passionate little interlude but it wasn't truly anything special. He wasn't particularly rough with her. It just read as sex where she wasn't on top and had limited movement. It's not that it wasn't a good book. It's just that you have this title, "Control Freak" that makes a sort of promise and the story just doesn't deliver on it. I wanted him to step up and be an alpha for that one moment, but he spent the whole story being a beta. Still, worth a read.
Brandon is an overworked husband with a wife who wants a little too much. Sex, that is. When his wife starts throwing him hints about bondage and masochism, he's sure she's flipped. In the end, Brandon must decide which lines he's willing to cross for the women he loves. Approximately 3341 word Short Story, plus excerpt of Shadow Cat.

Less than the title promises...

It's not that it wasn't a good book. It's just that you have this title, "Control Freak" that makes a sort of promise and the story just doesn't deliver on it. I wanted him to step up and be an alpha for that one moment, but he spent the whole story being a beta.
Still, worth a read.
