Reader Review: I really enjoyed getting to know Faith, the main character and narrator - she has a fascinating and refreshing perspective on life. I was sorry to say goodbye to her when the story ended. This novel has a good message presented in an unique and entertaining way as Faith reflects on her experiences during the decade leading up to the new year/century. I also liked the clear sense of place (Chicago) and time (Y2K). Highly recommended.
Faith & Trust is psychological fiction and a novel-in-stories. Each chapter is a stream-of-consciousness first-person telling of one event in the life of Faith Thomas, a young Chicagoan navigating the 90s and preparing for life post-Y2K. Put the chapters together and you'll know Faith better than she knows herself. It's a bit experimental. You may have to read it twice. That's intentional.

| Note | ePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it. |
