America’s cultural wars will not end until we can all draw from a collective pool of common sense, based upon knowledge and truth that we all share. "Calling a Cease Fire to America's Culture Wars" examines some of our most divisive cultural concerns, but without the usual pandering to one extreme or the other, in order to reduce our collective knowledge gap about these controversies. In an increasingly hostile world, we no longer have the luxury to continue to fight internally. We can no longer allow the extremists among us to tailor national debates to perpetuate their own agenda. It is time for us to negotiate our own cease-fire to our nation’s culture wars. Most other enlightened nations of the world have already resolved many of these same ideological issues, and their citizens and government representatives are now free to concentrate their resources on addressing those economic, health and security issues that significantly impact their lives.

| Note | ePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it. |
