July 13, 2047. 7:13 a.m. Thousands of heavily-armed unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are patrolling the skies over major American cities. In the eastern United States, more than 6000 UAVs are highjacked via remote control. The autonomous UAVs are sent to attack major cities, unleashing a maelstrom of missiles and bombs before becoming deadly projectiles themselves. Millions die. It is the single greatest disaster in U.S. history. But on that fateful morning, known simply as The Attack, Parker Perkins survives. Three years pass. Sunny and Bubba convince Parker to visit Sky City Hobbies & Toys, to meet teen super-stars Colby Max and Igby Fry, and, most importantly, to see a real Go-Boy Battle-Suit. But Colby’s handlers soon announce that the appearance is over, and it is time for Colby to depart. Chaos erupts. In the midst of the calamity, four men in dark suits enter through the back door. They seize Parker and depart, just as quickly as they came. Parker soon finds himself riding an underground bullet train, accompanied inexplicably by Sunny and Bubba (and Colby Max!), stowaways who hide nearby in the darkness. Where is the train headed?
