Suffice to say, things are not going so well in the green house on Pacific Street. Eric is sleeping with his boss, running a drug racket out of his company car, and getting further in debt to one of San Francisco's most eccentric crime syndicates. His ex-fiancee, Emily, can't get a job, can't get a date, and every tarot reading she gives for a client is sunk by the appearance of The Death Card. Meanwhile, the third member of the household, Jacobins, seems to be having a minimalist nervous breakdown, but he can't be sure. All he really wants, on a cold winter night during a San Francisco summer, is a really good cup of coffee - and when he meets Inga Leonard, the beautiful overnight barista at A Beautiful Cup, his life will never quite be the same. (And neither will hers.) Everything you want in a novel - love, sex, crime, fledgling mobsters, tarot readings, dancing, mayhem, fog, beautiful cups of coffee and beautiful people who serve them.

| Note | ePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it. |
