Galatians - Paraphrased is a layman’s effort to make this New Testament book easy for the 21st century reader to understand. Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, wrote this letter 2,000 years ago to explain how their perfect relation to God is God’s gift and there is nothing they could do to earn it, it’s a gift. It’s a gift offered and he explains how it must be accepted. He challenged Christians in his day with this question, “If trying to obey the Jewish Laws never gave you eternal life in the first place, why do you think trying to keep them now will make you stronger Christians?” It is still a valid question.
