Jia's Charms is the story of a group of would-be colonists forced to evacuate over a dangerous world. They struggle to find each other again, unaware that their arrival might have already broken the fragile truce between the previous settlers and the native inhabitants, the Inako. Logan: Reluctantly committed to a dark mission, he does what he can to make himself appear trustworthy. Jia: Years ago, she was banished from her people. She assumed she would live the rest of her life in solitude, but then Logan's escape pod crashes into her tree. Lauren: Having been separated from her teenage daughter Ivy for more than a decade, she finds herself in the role of single parent when they end up stranded. Now she has to try and protect her child, in an environment that presents a new threat every day. Wil: Frantic to find Ivy, he accepts help from Jia along the way. Unfortunately for him, that also means interacting with Logan, whom he made an enemy out of on the ship. Rachel: The decision to try and find survivors is an easy one to make. The struggle comes when she has to work out how to integrate so many strangers into her small village.

| Note | ePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it. |
