While doing research for her beloved uncle, Lacey meets Mark, a handsome stranger, and is very attracted to him. Then she discovers her apartment burglarized, her uncle killed. Sheriff Ben suspects both she and her mother of being involved in his murder. But the sheriff was her uncle’s buddy and might be involved himself. Can they trust him? Mark reappears.
