In the original tale of Jack and his magic beans, they told about half of the story. That's not odd, since historical tomes frequently just touch on the high points and then move on to other things. And, back then, paper cost a lot more than it costs now. Plus, as you will find out, a significant portion of the story was kept secret. Society back then was pretty hung up about things sexual, and it wasn't acceptable to talk about it - never mind the fact that everybody did it. Come to think of it, that part hasn't changed all that much. Anyway, there were other reasons for keeping Jack's action secret, as you will also see if you read the book. Now, though, all is revealed. Who else did Jack meet when he climbed the magic beanstalk? How often did the goose lay those golden eggs? If a bean planted in the earth grew a monstrously huge beanstalk, what would happen to the boy who ate one of those beans? Would some kind of mammoth stalk grow from him too? And what would the ladies think of such a thing? You begin to see why the information was withheld from the general public. And why it should STILL be withheld from those under the age of 18. This is adult stuff here! But there's more! Ever wonder where the term "OK" came from? It's in here. Why is it nobody's ever heard of a "garp" and yet one has a major role in Jack's history? Did you know there were female giants? And just what is proper etiquette when a giant comes calling? All this and much more is here, waiting for you to discover it. This story has just about everything in it, which is why it's so long that it had to be presented as its own book, instead of being included in one of Lubrican's Fractured Fairy Tales anthologies. So curl up in a nice chair, with a snack and something to drink, because this is one fairy tale you're not going to want to put down until you've reached the very end. Warning: This book contains adult language and describes adult sexual situations. It is not appropriate for those under the age of 18.
