In the original tale of Jack and his magic beans, they told about half of the story. That's not odd, since historical tomes frequently just touch on the high points and then move on to other things. Society back then was pretty hung up about things sexual, and it wasn't acceptable to talk about it - never mind the fact that everybody did it. Now, though, all is revealed. Who else did Jack meet when he climbed the magic beanstalk? How often did the goose lay those golden eggs? And what would the ladies think of such a thing? You begin to see why the information was withheld from the general public. And why it should STILL be withheld from those under the age of 18.
