This is the incredible true love story of John and Jeannie - how John returned home from work one day to find his wife, Jeannie, lying on the floor unable to move. Jeannie was paralysed from the neck down and the story that follows is of this brave couple’s fight to stop the authorities from placing her in an aged care facility. Such facilities are mainly for the aged in their eighties and nineties. Jeannie was in only her mid fifties. Yet they would have to battle the efforts of doctors and nurses, of the health authorities and the government of the day in their determination to keep Jeannie at home rather than have to commit her to such a place. This is a story that will make you cry and laugh. Most of all it is a story of how ordinary people were plunged into extraordinary circumstances and how they battled them.

| Note | ePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it. |
