Blake's recent divorce confused him. It made him take the time to examine his past actions and beliefs. He wonders if he could have done anything to prevent it. The feelings stirring in him have opened him up to a different reality. When he moves into his new apartment he is not ready to deal with the forces that he will soon encounter. The ghosts and cyber hallucinations he experiences cause him to question his own sanity.
