I Was & other poems, another recent collection of Jay Mouton's esoteric poetry, reflects upon the pictures that life paints of all the winners, losers, and all of us the sometimes end up somewhere between the two. The title piece, "I Was" is a tribute to his late sister, Jody Ann Dinkle. "I Was" gives weight to the very fact of existance, and what that existance creates and will leave for all those that follow.
