Hiking the John Muir Trail - it's an amazing adventure. The JMT starts in Yosemite and finishes 223 miles later at Mt. Whitney. Walking Towards Thunder is a cool book about a woman hiking the JMT, solo. Actually she starts with two friends. Eventually they bail out and leave her tackle the trail alone. The story is fiction. The John Muir Trail is real and wonderful. Each summer for the last 15 years I've hiked the JMT. This book is a homage to my beloved John Muir Trail. Hope to see you on the trail next summer. NoteePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the "non-propreitary" hardware manufacturers are now supporting it.

December 4, 2011: Absolutely brilliant! What can I say. I read this after I watched the series. Loved the series but the books were even better. It's Lord of the Rings for adults.
